About Us and what we do

Kerala Community Wellingborough (KCW) was formed with a simple yet powerful vision - to bring together families with roots in Kerala and create a vibrant, supportive community here in the UK. We keralites have a strong desire to keep our roots alive while building our futures in the United Kingdom. Though we may be thousands of miles away from the lush landscapes and vibrant traditions of Kerala, the spirit of our homeland lives within us. KCW exists to bring that spirit together - to create a warm, welcoming space where Malayalees in Wellingborough and neighboring towns can connect not just as members, but as one extended family.  

Our mission is to nurture and preserve Kerala’s rich cultural identity while embracing the opportunities and diversity of life in the United Kingdom. Through cultural events, festivals, charitable initiatives, and social gatherings, our vision is to celebrate who we are and to pass that pride to the next generation. KCW is not just an association; it is an extended family committed to promoting unity, inclusivity, and community spirit, we honour our heritage, support one another in times of need, and create lasting bonds that ensure our identity continues to flourish, no matter how far we are from Kerala.
